Murder mystery in Delaware County. A couple was killed in their home two years ago.

And tonight our Seanette Wilson has new details on a person of interest and other murders they may be tied to.

State police say a gun may be the link between two cases involving deadly shootings, one dating back to

New Year's Eve of 2022. New developments in an investigation that had gone quiet since the double

murders inside this Chester Heights home two years ago. Still, no one is arrested for the deadly shooting

of 72-year-old Richard Zatchko and 69-year-old Rita Zatchko.

Now Pennsylvania State Police say a gun used in another shooting was bought by a person of interest

in the murder of the Zachkos, who was also a person of interest in a murder in California.

Federal investigators made the discovery after an incident on January 20th of last week, when they say a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent was killed near a Canadian border crossing in northern Vermont after a car stop.

The two people in the car have been identified as Teresa Youngblood and Felix Ophelia Bockholt.

Bokholt was killed during an exchange in gunfire with federal

agents. The woman was arrested. Investigators have not named the person of interest in the

Delco double murders who they say purchased the gun used in the shooting of the Border Patrol agent.

Meanwhile, a neighbor I talked to off camera tonight walking her dog near the victim's old home on Highland Drive in Chester Heights said neighbors hadn't heard anything since the murders.

Investigators then said they found the husband and wife two days into the new year while making a wellness check at the home.

No motive has been released. Neighbors then said they knew little of the couple, but one recalled seeing the man and that he was friendly.

When we were going on walks, we know, we'd always see him cutting his grass or maintaining his lawn or doing, you know, yard work and things like that.

And we'd always wave and he always waved back in a smile.

And investigators are still looking for information regarding these two investigations.
