Summary

In 2002, Stephen King continued his successful collaboration with ABC to bring an original story to life. The three part Rose Red was a ratings success, spawned supplemental promotional material and a spinoff prequel one year later. Sandwiched between the heyday of the TV mini-series and the rise of prestige TV, Rose Red finds itself like a ghost, haunting the shifting landscape of television. What legacy does it leave behind? 0:51.7	I just wanted to give an update and a preview of how to listen to the Stephen Kingcast, how to get the most out of it.
1:01.3	So recently, I have gone through all of the episodes of the Stephen King cast, re-edited them, re-recorded portions of nearly every episode

1:24.0	chronological order of publication. So once you start at the very beginning and start with
1:31.3	Carrie, you will find everything in the order of publication by the publication of the novel.
1:39.2	So you will get Carrie and then a review of the ending of Carrie, and then the review of the movie
1:47.4	versions of Carrie, and then it moves on to Salem's Lot, and then a review of the ending
1:52.9	of Salem's Lot, and then a review of the 1979 Toby Hooper adaptation of Salem's Lot, and then
2:00.0	the 2004 Rob Lowe-starring version of Salem's Lot. And then the 2004 Rob Lowe-Starring version of Salem's Lot,
2:04.8	and then the more recent HBO adaptation of Salem's Lot. So as you can see, you will get the
2:12.2	chronological order of publication by the books, and any adaptation springing out of that published text will be
