I can certainly tell you looking forward to controlling the zone at a higher level, hitting more balls at productive angles.

And obviously the goal of an offense is to score more runs, but making sure that we know how to do it.

And when the situation is presented to us of this is a slug situation, we're going to slug.

Okay, you know what? This is actually a situational hitting

position. We're going to execute what we're trained to do on that. So a versatile attack

of going out there and understanding the game, control the zone, and obviously putting more

And if there's one thing that the White Sox were desperately missing last season,

besides wins, was hitting.

I mean, the White Sox were by far the worst offense in all of baseball, finishing last in the majors, in run scored, and by a wide, wide margin. So Chris Gets is out to fix this alien offense, and the first move he made this offseason was hiring former Baltimore Orioles hitting coach Ryan Fuller to be the White Sox director of hitting a new job in the White Sox organization.

And Ryan is our guest today to talk about coming to the White Sox, what he's going to bring to the table, and how he can help turn around several, many White Sox hitters who are coming

off rough, rough seasons. We talk about Louise Robert Jr., and Rufan, et cetera. Also, Austin

Slater, who was with the Orioles at the end of last season. The White Sox just signed to him,

pending the physical, and we get into the nitty-gritty of hitting, the mental

approach, et cetera. This is a great conversation. I really enjoyed it. And as I look into what's

going to fix this White Sox offense, number one, they need better hitting. And you could argue

better hitters.

But from what I learned from Ryan Fuller,

he's got all the tools to make current White Sox hitters,

better hitters.

And this will be an attractive place for guys to come
