Last weekend, the U.S. corporate-owned media was gushing with enthusiasm and excitement over an armed coup attempt against the Russian government.

That coup has ended, but the U.S. proxy war with Russia inside of Ukraine continues to grind on.

We need a new system. We need a new society. We need to demand that which may have sounded

I certainly don't tune in to CNN or MSNBC or Fox News for news because I know that these

are echo chambers for variant sort of political wings of the U.S. ruling class.

They're echo chambers for ruling class politics.

You can't really learn anything

because they are indeed propaganda channels. But I had to tune in on Saturday because this was

pretty dramatic, an armed coup attempt against the Russian government. And I felt I was back in

1989 when I turned on the TV and watched about Tiananmen Square

when there was such enthusiasm and excitement.

Like, the U.S. media seemed like they were actually part of the struggle to topple a government.

And the coup effort was led by Progosion, the leader of a mercenary force, the Wagner force.

I mean, just thank you, Gene, if Progogian had become the head of state of Russia, he would control the second largest nuclear arsenal in the world.

None of that seemed to matter to the U.S. media because the desire to topple the Russian government, that trumped everything, so to speak.

Anyway, the coup did end.
