What you know, Alibyers, just wanted to update you on the case of Nancy Guthrie, who is missing 84 years old out of Tucson, Arizona.

She is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, who is on the Today Show as an anchor.

Some more details have started to come out from law enforcement through exclusive interviews they've given and emailed statements,

so I kind of gathered what I confide to put that here. Her phone, wallet, and car were all still at

home. There were no signs of forced entry, and the front door was unlocked. Lights in the common

area were on when police arrived. Now, the Daily Mail spoke to Pima County Sheriff Chris

Nanos in an exclusive interview and the details are very disturbing. He said this is about an 84-year-old

woman who is sick, who in the middle of the night was taken from her bedroom. We believe she was

forced to leave that residence. It was against her will. He also told

CBS, I believe she was abducted, yes, while asleep. If she's alive, she needs her medication,

and it's been well over 24 hours. That in itself could be fatal and that's scary. When asked if

abduction is too strong a word to describe

her disappearance, Sheriff Nanos replied no. He said this was, in our opinion, someone entered her home

in the middle of the night and removed her. It could be more than one person. We don't know yet.

So that's the latest, really hoping for a positive update here.

They have not said there is a threat to the community, so perhaps the security cameras at her

home captured something. It could be they are very well working their leads. Maybe they already

have a suspect. We don't know yet. But when they say there's no threat to the community, and he said he did not say that lightly,

but they don't believe there is one, a lot of times it means that they've already identified

somebody they want to talk to.

So if that's the case, let's hope this person is found very quickly so that they would be

one step closer to finding Miss Nancy Guthrie.
