All right, we're going to continue our intense, dark, and awesome study of Elijah, amen.

If you got a Bible, we're in 1st King's chapter 18,

I'm going to get right to work we got a lot of wood to

job here's the big question can we how can we stand against the ahab and

Jesbell spirits today as you find your place in 1st Kings 18 let me set it up

for you we're looking at a story in history from about a

thousand years ago. It is in the nation of Israel, it's an eastern story, there is a king

named Ahab, he's got a wife named Jezebel. Ahab is passive.

Jezebel is controlling. And then God sins a man named Elijah who's a prophet to confront both of them. So we've established

our basic thesis and that is that these are actual historical people but

working through them are different spirits and powers.

Through Jezebel is what we're calling the Jezebel spirit, demonic controlling, domineering,

overbearing.

Working through Ahab is what we're calling the Ahab spirit passive indifferent

tolerant doesn't like conflict and responsibility. Working through

Elijah is God the Holy Spirit and he confronts these two people

and the spirits at work in and through them.
