Now your research involves interacting with a lot of what I would call the conventional wisdom and the culture and the academic literature on same-sex parenting. So what I'd like to do is to take four of

the main areas of what I would call the received wisdom or the conventional

The conventional wisdom in the culture is that same-sex parents have just as stable a
