We're here, obviously, for the lottery, and so we'll have all the coverage there of that. And then we'll talk about what, you know, do the Mavs have any lottery karma? Who has the most lottery karma? I want to talk to you about that. Well, let's start here with Mike Schmitz, the Mavs name Mike Schmitz of the Portland Trailblazers, previously of ESPN of Draft Express, their new general manager. There's a question a lot of people had, but what the maps were going to do? Were they going to name Matt Ricardy or Michael Finley

or what were they going to do.

Were they going to name Matt Ricardy or Michael Finley or what were they going to do with the GM? What was Masei Uri the GM? And I think we got our answer. We got our answer about a couple of things with the Mavericks. One, that Masai Jiri is not just going to keep everybody that's in house and just roll with the crew that the Mavs already have.

He wants to bring in outside voices.

He wants to bring in other people that bring skills to the table.

Mike Schmidt's obviously a known draft guy.

He was deep into the draft coverage, started Draft Express, that website a while ago,

and built it up to the point where it was the number one draft source. We were using it all the time on this show, Draft Express, like looking up different guys and things like that. Then he gets hired by ESPN, becomes their number one draft guy. That was a big deal. Then all of a sudden he was hired by the Portland Trailblazers to be, you know, assistant GM. That was a massive deal too. Everybody was looking around going, wait, hold on. This is a pipeline where this can actually happen. We've seen this happen over and over again with

different people get hired that we're doing draft stuff. Our friend Raphael Barlow got hired by the Mavericks to do draft stuff after doing. Remember the Steppian? The Steppian was the site that we used a lot. I think he works for the Rockets now.
