So the new CPI data is out and it shocked the market.

It is red hot.

Does this mean that we're seeing a reacceleration of consumer prices, especially when you consider

the Trump tariffs?

We're going to get into that in just a moment.

And we've hit the next phase of the

collapse in the Chinese real estate market and therefore their economy. And we've got some good news.

Doge is uncovering some crooked government officials and politicians. And bonus, Trump is meeting with Putin, and we could see resolution to the war in Ukraine.

That is definitely, definitely a good thing.

So let's start by getting into the CPI data from this morning.

We're going to go over to the Wall Street Journal. Title here, Inflation

heated up in January, freezing the Fed. Clever, Clever, Wall Street, Journal. I see what you did

there. I see what you did there. Their key talking point,

consumer prices rose 3%. So punchline here is the CPI went up to 3%. That's year every year.

Month over month was what was really surprising to me and something that really made me think.

And that's it went from 0.3 to 0.5.
