Andy and On3 national writer Jesse Simonton break them down. Plus, where should James Madison fit into the picture? The Dukes -- who can't play in a bowl because they are in the second year of a two-year transition period between the FCS and the FBS -- sent a letter to the NCAA asking to deemed bowl eligible this season. N.C. State sophomore quarterback MJ Morris, who led the Wolfpack to a 3-1 record the past four games, has decided to redshirt the remainder of the 2023 season. 0:10.7	on three national writer. And Jesse, I saw Greg McElroy get fired up on the show, and I love Greg,
0:19.6	and I appreciate his passion.
0:22.6	But this is a made-for-TV event, and all this stuff's going to work itself out.
0:27.0	But we need to talk about, there are a couple of things.
0:29.4	I did think Greg brought up a couple good points.
0:32.0	And so I want to talk about that first.
0:35.2	Ohio State number one, Georgia number two, Michigan number three,
0:38.5	Florida State number four, nobody's worried about that. Washington's number five, they're the
0:42.1	lowest ranked undefeated team. After them is Oregon, which has a great win at Utah,
0:49.1	and no other good wins, behind them, Texas and Alabama. And so one argument that was being made by the
0:57.2	panel, which I get, is why is Oregon ranked ahead of Texas and Alabama? And the other one
1:05.8	that Greg McElroy was bringing up is Texas could keep Alabama out of the playoff if Alabama wins out.
1:12.5	So let's tackle those separately.
1:14.1	Let's start with the Oregon being the highest ranked one loss team, first and foremost.
1:20.9	Well, Greg's point, I thought, he's clearly not a big fan of the pig farmer, Andy.
1:27.1	He does not think overly highly of the Utah Utes.
1:32.8	And his argument was that that Oregon win should not mean as much compared to obviously Texas beating Alabama
1:40.6	and what Alabama has done recently racking up wins, Old Miss, Texas A&M.
1:48.7	That's not a great one, but Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and obviously LSU this past weekend.
1:54.3	It's not a bad argument.
1:55.6	The idea, though, that both he and Herbie were kind of speaking in absolutes that Texas absolutely would block
