It has also ushered in a new political witch hunt against dissenting voices.

We need a new system. We need a new society.

It's one of my favorite shows, so it's always a real pleasure being here. Well, thank you. Thank you

for joining Ben. You made a big hit in mainstream media in the past few weeks. I saw your picture

very prominently displayed on the website of the New York Times,

and it had a big red line through it. And I thought, what happened to Ben? Anyway, it's an

amazing story, and it's the subject of what we want to talk about today, the new witch hunt.

The Ukraine war has ushered

in a new witch hunt. We've talked a lot about the new Cold War against China and Russia,

but the old Cold War had a very terrible witch hunt against dissenting voices, especially those

on the left, and people on the left, especially leaders of the Communist Party,

and earlier the Socialist Workers Party during World War II,

but the Communist Party, very notably,

became the target of the witch hunt after 1945

when the United States basically started a new aggressive policy against its former ally, the Soviet Union.
