But first real quick, Bruce, michigan jim harbaugh probably

one of the toughest programs to crack in terms of what's going on behind the scenes you had a great

story up on the athletic on tuesday morning um about a figure that i i don't even know if most

michigan fans know about him much less college football fans nationally.

Tell us a little bit about it.

Yeah, his name is Biff Pogh.

If you really know a ton about recruiting, especially on the East Coast, you may have heard of him.

Or there was a really, it was like New York Times bestselling book about his high school program written by Jeffrey Mark's season of life about 20 years ago

um i'll be honest i knew of biff had had never interacted with them or anything like that and

because fox sports had had four big noon games in a row that were michigan there was one of the guys

i know on the michigan staff had introduced me to biff before one of the guys I know on the Michigan staff had introduced

me to Biff before one of the games. And I talked to her for maybe five, 10 minutes that day,

maybe 10 minutes. And then I saw him the next week and talked to him for like 20 minutes. And then

it just kind of grew from there where I talked to people inside the program, people who were there last year.

And one of the things that started to come up when I was like, yeah, I had a really interesting talk with Biff this week was what has changed about Michigan?

How does Jim Harbaugh go from two and four?

Remember, that was the year where they got blown out by almost everybody.
