Let's do this. There's a breakthrough in the Middle East. A 10-day ceasefire went into effect at

0:46.0

midnight this morning in Lebanon. The truce pauses fighting between Israeli forces and Iranian-backed

0:51.5

Hezbollah forces. Remember, Hezbollah has been designated a terror group

0:55.6

by the U.S., as well as several other countries and international organizations. It's Iran's most

1:00.5

powerful proxy and is even considered more powerful than the Lebanese military. Hezbollah did acknowledge

1:06.3

naval blockade that's now expanded. The American military now says it will target any vessel

1:56.0

linked to Iran anywhere in the world. Back in Washington, hundreds of lawmakers, mostly Democrats, are still voicing

2:02.2

their disapproval of the war, while hundreds of others, mostly Republicans, are defending it.

2:07.2

Once again, the U.S. House took up a resolution that would have required President Trump to

2:11.4

withdraw all U.S. forces from the war in Iran unless Congress authorized military action.

2:16.9

And once again, the vote failed by just one

2:19.0

vote this time. Of course, even if a war powers resolution were to pass the House, it would still
