New body cam footage from a Butler, Pennsylvania police officer was obtained by CNN.

It shows that law enforcement officers identified Donald Trump's would-be assassin moments before he shot at the former president.

Here's some of that dramatic footage.

But he's laying down, he's going on her next building over.

The officers were not able to stop the gunman

before he shot at Trump hitting him in the ear. Another troubling part of the video shows

some officers saying they told the Secret Service to secure the roof of the

building from where Matthew Crooks took his shots.
