I'm Pete, joined by Mike, no Darius, today. And we started back-to-back. Lakers play the Clippers tonight, technically a home game, and then tomorrow against San Antonio.

But Mike, sadly, you were not on our Rui Hachamura podcast yesterday, but since last time

we talked, Lakers traded for him, traded Kendrick Nunn in three seconds. So let's start there, man.

What are your thoughts on the Rui trade?

It's funny on Saturday. I was watching Orlando, Washington randomly, which I don't know why it was in a huge

league pass game necessarily.

And Rui went off that he had 30 points on 13 for 22 from the field, right?

Like he's hitting threes.

And it's just one of those things you monitor when a guy who he's had some games like this,

like he had a 30 point game at the end of December.

He's had a couple of high 20 point games, but usually he's more on those teens and he's

coming off the bench and he's not playing huge minutes.

But that was just one thing that I was doing on Saturday.

So then when I started hearing about a potential trade happening, I was a little more

intrigued because he to me is the kind of player, first of all, Pete, and you and Darius covered
