With a woman to look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with a point.

Just in time for Pride Month, the Associated Press joined the ranks of activist organizations

telling Americans to embrace transgenderism.

Recent updates to the APH-style guide insisted that reporters use individuals' preferred

pronouns.

Avoid terms like biological sex, call sex assigned at birth, and refer to controversial,

surgical, and chemical transition interventions as so-called gender-affirming care.

Well, the AP claims that these new rules amount to following the science, but nothing could

be further from the truth.

Science, such as puberty blockers, are reversible, or that chemical and surgical transition

interventions are backed by evidence, is simply not true.

It betrays their lack of expertise.

The science here so far from settled, and what we know so far actually indicates that

these interventions are detrimental to the physical health and mental well-being of kids.

Pelling ideas that are basically dangerous pseudoscience in order to get cultural brownie

points is simply cowardice.

The AP should stick to journalists and that seeks the truth, rather than promote

harm.
