That is a sound. Well, there are three different sounds actually. There's four now.

That's a sash window closing. But before that you might have heard a Seagull, what sounded

like a motorbike revving up and down the high street, and perhaps the whirr of an air conditioning

unit of the bar opposite me that promises

spicy chicken and cold beer. I'm staying in a very small hotel, very nice little hotel, in

St Andrews, where I have arrived for the second time in my life actually to Toppings Bookshop, which is an amazing institution

in St Andrews, which is not only a fabulous bookshop, but runs amazing author events that

are always very well attended. And in a couple of hours' time, I'm going to be chatting

to some people about my book, The Accidental Tourist.

And I've just signed 150 books, which will be going to, people who signed up to buy them, I guess, later.

Otherwise, there's no point of me having done that.

Sorry, I'm rambling.

But yeah, this is a start of a podcast that may become a podcast,

but may become part of a bigger podcast. Let's see how it goes. A 48 hour, not even that,

maybe 36 hours trip to Scotland and back. Today at St Andrews. I've just taken a five and

half hour train journey from Kings Cross up to St Andrews and I will be going

back fairly early tomorrow. But first up before, but first up before that, I'm going to go for a run

to see if I can run onto and trespass onto Donald Trump's flipping golf course.

Has he got one in St Andrews?

I don't even know if he has.

I might have totally the wrong place.
