Dave and I had the chance to speak at a marriage conference this past spring and this woman came up in her early 30s.

Soon as I saw her, she hugged me and started crying.

And I said, hey, what's your name what's your story and she said I've gone

through the hardest year because I lost my mom a few years ago and she said I

felt like the mentor in my life is gone. I go to a good church she goes this is going to sound crazy to you but you and Dave are my mentors now through listening to family life today.

She said, I feel like I'm being disciples.

I feel like the gospel has a whole new meaning

of how it can imply to my marriage and my parenting.

And I just hunt her, to like that this is amazing.

I remember seeing you guys over there, you know, talking and hugging.

I'm like, what was that all about?
