So it's the morning of stage two,

Saturday morning on the Tour de la Provence,

and we've left behind us the big city bustle and hustle

of Marseille and driven towards the Lubron Mountains,

towards the Alps actually sort of heading off

heading off in a north-eterly direction away from the coast for

the queen stage of the race I got here last night actually and stayed in a fantastic apartment

right in the middle of this lovely little provence town Provenceal town absolutely

archetypal province except for the freezing cold weather that we've still got I'm in

the little town of Foucaucalchié which is perched on a hilltop and it's only about

15 kilometers as the crow flies from the 16 kilometer climb are the Montlure up to the ski

station of the station of the Lur and there's lots of snow up in the tops actually of these Vaucluse mountains because of the cold and wet weather that we've had over the last few days and it's a really terrific atmosphere down here at the start. Number one it's the weekend so everyone's got vibe. And number two, a smaller race like this just feels better, feels more appropriate if it's, if it sets up at the start in a little town like this, where you can tell everybody has kind of got behind it and brought into it.

And it's a big deal for this little town, especially in the middle of winter where not much is happening and there's no there's no tourists in town

apart from me so you know shops that might otherwise have been closed have opened up this weekend restaurants

and cafes are all doing business residents old friends are all meeting up coming down to the place de bourgeois in the middle of

the town just to greet one another possibly haven't seen each other for weeks hunkering down in this

unseasonably cold January in February that we've been having here and the UNEBET rockets are just being introduced to the crowd and I'm going to take a little

Maxim, how did it go yesterday for the riders?

How hard was that race to control?

Yeah for us was not perfect because we actually lost the Surin Cloud in a crash and the riders in the bunch actually didn't see him crashing so they saw he was still in the in the front of the race.

Because he'd attacked on the descent hadn't he?
