0:02.3

You know, I want to start off with something pretty mind-blowing that I learned from you.

0:06.0

So globally, we have about 50, 55 million people diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

0:11.4

But the crazy part is that that's set to triple by, I think, 2050 is what I learned from you.

0:18.4

But even crazier than that is that only three to five percent of all diagnoses are driven

0:25.9

by our genetics.

0:27.8

So that begs the question for myself and our audience, what the heck is happening for the other

0:34.6

95 to 97 percent of people who, unfortunately unfortunately are ending up with this super scary disease.

0:42.9

1:15.6

Yeah.

1:16.6

So let's start off with the first one and talk about sleep.

1:19.6

Everybody sleeps, or you would hope so, but what is going on in our modern day society

1:25.6

that we're not sleeping good enough that's impacting our brain?

1:30.9

Well, we have to understand, first of all, the pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease.

1:36.0

So we know in these neurodegenerative diseases, okay?

1:40.8

Neurodegenerative.
