According to a new study, which came out of Italy, nearly one in three COVID vaccine recipients

suffered some type of neurological side effect, including things like headaches, tremors,

muscle spasms, insomnia, sleepiness, vertigo, difficulty content trading, and so on.

And right before we dive into the particulars of this study, I'll quickly mention that I'm not a

doctor. This episode is by no means medical advice, and everyone should make their own informed

choices about which medicines and vaccines to take or not to take. Today, we're only going to

be going through this study. It's methodology as well as its findings in order to add to the

broader knowledge base surrounding the vaccines. Now, with that out of the way, let's dive into it.

This particular peer-reviewed study was recently published in the pages of a journal called

Vaccines, which is a serious, very high-quality journal, which specializes in clinical vaccine

research. And the title of this study was this, quote, neurocovax, an Italian population-based

study of neurological complications after COVID-19 vaccinations. And as the title suggests, this study

was conducted by Italian researchers who, quote, analyzed 19,096 people who received COVID-19 vaccines

in Italy in July of 2021, out of which 15,368 had taken the Pfizer vaccine,

2077 had taken the Moderna version, and 1,651 took the AstraZeneca version.

Okay, just to simplify that and in order to see those numbers in graphical form,

here's a pie chart of the data that the researchers were working with.

Around 19,000 people in total who got the shot in July of 2021, out of which about 80% got the

Pfizer shot, about 11% got the Moderna shot, and the remaining 9% got the AstraZeneca shot.

And just for your general reference, while both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are based on mRNA

technology, the AstraZeneca vaccine is a more, you can say, traditional type of shot. It's an

identity virus vaccine, which uses a different mechanism to trigger the body's immune response.
