Today we're talking about some issues that Tesla had

with its network yesterday, as well as some news on GM's electric vehicles.

Tesla's talk on Wednesday, finishing down 2.20% to $305 one cent this compared to the NASDAQ up

0.99%. Yesterday Tesla was having some issues with its network.

Internet connectivity with the vehicle and with the app were not working for around six hours

yesterday.

Aside from temporarily making some features unavailable, the biggest impact that this had was

the inability to use the phone key for Model 3 if someone had been logged out of their

Tesla app on the phone that they use as their key for model three. Because the

phone key works over Bluetooth, if you were still logged in the phone key was still able to function.

But if you were logged out, you were unable to connect to log back in to get that functionality.

Of course, in instances like this, there is always the key card, so hopefully people are carrying that key card with

them in their wallet or purse I'm sure there were a few people that were

affected negatively by this but hopefully that number is pretty low any technology

company is going to have growing pains like this. Even well

established companies are going to have issues. And while the preference would be

to never have any issues, I think it's clearly a positive for Tesla to be a

leader here in terms of having a connected fleet.
