And today we're doing an episode of WWF superstars from April 25th, 1992.

And as I have mentioned many times, you know, giving you a little bit of behind the scenes,

Superstars was a program that was pretty much just like Wrestling Challenge, an absolute

promotional tool.

Like their philosophy back then, and you have to remember the evolution of the company.

You know, this is, we're talking 1992,

and the company really took off back in 85.

So we're talking about a seven-year span here

when things really, you know, took off after WrestleMania won.

And, you know, Vince always had the, you know, the belief that it was all about just getting

the product out there and then selling the talent, which hasn't really changed over the years,

but how they make their money certainly has.

And back then, the way they made their money was doing house shows.

They'd had house shows across the country, and they did just an incredible amount of these

house shows in every little city and Hamlet you could imagine.

And that is how the superstars of the time were paid.
