a network classics.

And we have a good one coming up this week.

Of course, I always love to do the episodes from Saturday Night's main event, which were, really, they threw everything into these.

And it was great because it was, you know, over-the-air television.

It was on NBC, the network, which, you know, was just a fantastic time for the World

Wrestling Federation because, you know, wrestling hadn't been seen on network television

since the 50s.

And the fact that they pulled this deal together, Vince McMahon, along with Dick Ebersoll, who was the guy leading the charge in the network side because that's where he came from.

And he was a big wrestling fan, but even more of a big fan of bringing network ratings to new heights.

And this was a program that would be shown when Saturday Night

Live would take a hiatus, as they call a little break. And they would do these about five times a

year. And this all started in 1985. I believe the first episode aired in May of 1985. Now, we are going to do an episode,

as I mentioned, from January 4th, 1986. But in fact, this episode was taped on December 19, 1985,
