Good Friday morning. I'm Chris Broussard. Welcome to First Things First. I'm here with Greg

Jennings and Joy Taylor. Greg, Jenny's, and Joy Taylor.

Greg, let's get this thing started. Let's do it. Let's start out in Los Angeles where the Nets took care of the short-handed Lakers last night. Lakers were without Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroeder.

Kyrie and James Hardin took complete advantage.

Brooklyn gets their fifth straight win.

So Joy was last night more about the Nets win or the Lakers lost?

Last night was more about the Nets win, guys.

I loved what I saw from the Nets.

The Nets are now 10 and 1 against teams that are

500 or better. Kyrie and Hardin had a little conversation. Hardin's now the point guard.

Kyrie is playing a role. It's all coming together. We had a lot of questions about if this was

going to work or not. They're doing all this without KD. We had a lot of questions about their defense. How are they going to stop anybody? Well, you saw last night. If you don't have all your weapons, it doesn't matter if they get stops or not. And they actually had a really good defensive night holding the Lakers to 98 points, only eight threes. They're shooting an NBA best from 3.42% since Hardin has been there.
