Welcome to the Best Day Movie Related Show on the planet Earth, the John Campia show coming from right here in our quaint little studio.

I'm, of course, your host, John Campia, and it's an awesome honor and privilege to have you, our international friends gather around.

So we talk about our favorite things in the world, movies and movie news, TV and streaming and all sorts of good things, those things that we love and that give us joy. I'm so happy that you're here to join us today. I'm, of course, John Campia, I'm back. I wasn't on the show yesterday. I've been a little bit under the weather. I think I caught something off somebody at a poker table a while ago. I still have a cough. So if you guys notice, and I'm sometimes speaking with quote unquote candy in my mouth, it's probably just a haul to try to suppress the cough so I can do the show today. And I'm here solo today. I gave the other guys the day off today, but we still have a number of things

that we need to talk about. And so this is how today's show is going to go. We're going to start

off by talking about a number of predetermined topics we have lined up for you guys. Then in the

second part of the shows, we're going to take your live comments and questions. Now, unfortunately,

as happens sometimes, our super chats got completely filled up before we even started the show.

So the super chats are now turned off, but don't worry, they'll be turned back on again on Monday.

With all that down, let's get things started today, shall we?

And we're going to start off with this you know

there's a brand new scream movie coming uh i am myself not the biggest scream fan in the world

if i'm going to be honest with you like i i like the first one the first one i enjoyed i don't

think it's as great as some people make it out to be,

but I think it's quite good. I hated, I didn't like number two, number three, number four,

but then number five came along. And I liked five. I thought five was pretty darn good. Pardon

me. Then six came. And I thought six was a big step backwards,

to be honest with you. But now comes number seven. And according to reports now, the opening

weekend box office projections for Scream seven is that it's probably going to end up being the

second largest in the franchise's history as far as opening
