giant rising more than 3% at its highs and closing the day up nearly 2%. That as we

await the company's second quarter earnings report on Wednesday. The move in Netflix

has star contrast compared to other Titans in the media space. Paramount, Disney, Warner

Brothers, Discovery, all falling today. Disney's losses wiping out all its gains in

fact for 2023. The traditional studios reeling under the pressure of a second strike in Hollywood

actors joining writers on the picket line demanding higher pay and protections against AI.

This is a live look at the strikers right now in Los Angeles. So does Netflix's vast

library of content, its reliance on unscripted shows and an international pipeline insulated

from the pressures it is played that plays its rivals guy.
