Today, typical Tuesday, bottom of the hour, I have selected some clips for this week's fake news or not than Todd and Aaron will render their verdict. Are these fake news or not? Next hour, we're going to spend an entire hour on a television show currently airing on Netflix.

It's a Netflix original produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. That's the superstar producer tandem that Mark Burnett was one of the most successful television producers in the country before he married Roma Downey. But after marrying the devout Catholic woman, he has himself delved into a lot of faith-based programming in recent years. One of the more successful entities they've done was a few years ago. One of the highest rated mini series of all time.

It was on the Bible from the beginning all the way to the end. What was that like 13, 20 episodes? It was a fewer than 25, I believe.

Yeah, and that was a major hit and that really put them on the map in the faith-based entertainment community. Well, they are the executive producers of Netflix's Messiah.

And the tagline to the show is will he convert you or con you? Now, I have watched the entire show. My wife and I have watched the entire show, Todd.

I've watched the whole thing and I was a little skeptical at the beginning. I mean, man, I'm glad I took.

Did your wife watch it all with you? She did. Okay. Aaron, where are you and the new Mrs. MacIntyre at with this?

We made it through four episodes, four of the 10. Okay. Well, you guys are newly wedged. It's not like, you know, other things to do at the moment.

So I actually like that in a way you disobeyed what I asked last week. Yeah.

But, but you know why I like it? Because you are in the middle of the part of the series where I was having doubts about what my own opinion of what's going on is.

Then I'm not going to say anything right now. Okay. And then as the show gets further, did you have some similar doubts about three or four episodes in?

No, I can solid the whole way. Okay. Because I had some doubts the first few episodes. And then when we got further along, especially the more we get to the end, the more I am convinced of what's occurring here.

But a major platform has produced a series about the culmination of human history from what has been the dominant world view of Western civilizations perspective.

And it's got major production value. And there aren't like any major stars, but there's all kinds of actors and actresses that you have seen and other productions and you would know like Michelle Monahan who's been in a lot of movies and she's from our native Iowa actually.

And that if that's not perfect for pop culture Tuesday for us to park it in this space at the intersection between pop culture and conservatism. If this show wasn't made for this segment, then there's no the segments pointless to have each week.

And so we're going to spend a good deal of time talking about this show.
