influence any deal that involves Iran. The U.S. and Iran are negotiating through intermediaries

amid an American military buildup in the Middle East and fall out over Iran's violent crackdown

on protests that killed thousands, according to human rights groups.

Israel and the U.S. bombed Iran last year, and they've threatened to attack again if there's no deal.
