Hello again, I'm Warren Alney. Our main topic today is the political circus in Israel and its influence on politics in the United States, and we'll get to that in a few minutes.

We cannot, however, turn completely away from our own political circus. This week, while President Trump was in Vietnam to talk about nuclear weapons

with North Korea's Kim Jong-un, the American media were broadcasting this.

He is a racist. He is a con man, and he is a cheat.

David K. Johnston is a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter. He's author of The Making of Donald

Trump. More recently, it's even worse than you

think what the Trump administration is doing to America. David, welcome as always. Well, thank you,

one. Let's go back to racist, con man, and cheat. You and others have been saying that about Donald

Trump for a long time. What do you think was new about what was revealed today in that hearing room?

Well, first of all, what's significant is this is the first Trump outsider, sorry, insider

who has gone outside and told about who Donald is. That's number one and most important.

Secondly, his revelations about Donald's

private comments that many of us have been aware of, but I'm able to get people on the record

about how he believes blacks are in Cohen's words stupid, I think those are very important because, well, we've seen Donald Trump's

racism on display in many ways. In that testimony, we get the clear distinction between the

public Donald and the private Donald. And then finally, one of the things in this testimony,

and the Democrats are not asking very good questions to get out of this, somebody who actually has a billion dollars doesn't grub around for money. Donald Trump is always grubbing around for money because he's not a billionaire and never has been.

So there's a public Trump and there's a private Trump. Mr. Trump is an enigma. He is complicated as am I. He is both good

in bed, as do we all. But the bad far outweighs the good. And since taking office,

he has become the worst version of himself. He is capable of behaving kindly, but he is not kind.

He is capable of committing acts of generosity, but he is not generous. He is capable of being

loyal, but he is fundamentally disloyal. What about the Republicans? They went out of their way, of course, to try to
