Right, I am so excited about this because we know it is like Christmas morning around here.

One of our favorite things to do every single year is to do our net worth statements

and along with us getting to do ours, we love to do a show where we walk

you through the net worth of your peers and where other people in the country

and your stage of life are so you can kind of have an idea of where you are a head behind or on the curve.

One of the things that I love about this year's is that the Federal Reserve just updated their survey of consumer finances.

They only do this every three years.

We have brand new, fresh off the press, data.

So put on your bibs because we got an all you can eat buffet on all the things you need to know to master your personal finances and start the journey of focusing on what your network should be as well as how do you track it

and what are the important variables so you can live your best financial life.

If we're talking about net worth and maybe you are brand new to the show, you're brand

new to the Money Guy Enterprise.

What is Networth?

Well, very simply, it is what you own, minus what you owe.

If you add up all the things you have, all the things that fall into your ownership, minus all the things that fall into your ownership minus all the stuff that you owe money on,

credit cards, mortgage dollars, and you subtract those out, what's left over is your net worth.

It is your true dollar equity value on this earth.

A superpower for building net worth is just starting the jury to know what you have.
