All right, today we are continuing our journey through the book of Acts, and we're in Acts

chapter 23. Today we'll be looking at verses 23 through 35, and this is finishing up a story,

sort of finishing up of the Apostle Paul, where he's had this encounter with the Jews who are

trying to kill him, and the Romans have intervened. That's really all you need to know,

and we will continue. Verse 23 says, then he called two of the centurions and said,

now this he is a Roman official, who is over this group of centurions, this group of soldiers,

and he's discovered through Paul's nephew that there's a conspiracy to have Paul killed.

And so he calls two centurions and he says, get ready 200 soldiers with 70 horsemen

and 200 spearmen to go as far as Caesarea at the third hour of the night.

Also provide mounts for Paul to ride, and bring him safely to Felix, the governor,
