On my soul, she was a lovely thing.

Pale skin, dark hair and twined with the green weeds of the sea.

when they could.

since the razor's edges of our nets would slice them up they weren't quick enough.

As we later on the deck, perhaps she'd fallen from some rich man's pleasure vessel,

in a drinking parry out at sea.

She had to haul her more likely than not, and naked she was, as on her born-in-day.

But as I leaned over to touch the blue tip, breasts, I was surprised to feel her move beneath

my hand.
