Summary

In episode 326 astrologer Laura Nalbandian joins the show to talk about the meaning of the planet Neptune in astrology, and what it signifies in a birth chart. In astrology Neptune is generally said to signify illusions, mysticism, escapism, spiritualism, confusion, romanticism, the blurring of boundaries, extreme sensitivity, compassion, and transcendent experiences. Neptune is one of the more recently discovered outer planets, having only been discovered in 1846, although astrologers have figured out its meanings pretty well after nearly two centuries of working with it. This is part of a series of episodes where we do a deep-dive into the meanings of each of the planets in astrology, by reading some excerpts from different astrologers to see how they have talked about the planet in the past, and then using that as a jumping off point for discussion. 0:10.4	So hey Laura, welcome to the show. Thanks Chris for having me and making time for me. Yeah, so you're actually out here on a site visit
0:17.5	You're you're planning a big astrology conference. It's happening in Denver next year in August of 2022
0:24.8	Definitely, so this is actually
0:27.3	Hotel I had a conference gosh seems a hundred years ago, but it was 2003 did a conference and so it's not an unfamiliar hotel to me
0:35.9	But it's been a long time. So Esar is having their conference finally
0:42.5	Normally they had a conference every four years. So their last conference was 2016 and I believe if I remember it was in Arizona
0:50.5	right and then their intention was to have in four years was
0:55.3	2020 and we know how that went. Yeah, 2020 everything came down. I remember there was something that happened last year
1:01.6	Yeah, so I know fuzzy on the details. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, exactly. It was a little it's a little bump in the road
1:07.8	Unfortunately for all of us it's you know, Ben and Ordeal in all of our lives in some way or another and
1:14.8	certainly in the process of
1:17.0	You know coordinating events all us event coordinators have certainly had to deal with
1:22.3	You know moving events in one way or another so I
1:27.0	believe 2020 it was scheduled for September then it got canceled
1:31.0	It was scheduled for this time in 2021
1:35.8	Again too much uncertainty glad they did it with the Delta variant on the rise
1:41.4	Right, and so it's scheduled for August
1:45.6	25th through 29th at the Weston in Westminster, which is a suburb between Denver and Boulder. Okay, so that's where it will be held
1:56.1	and we have every
1:59.0	Focused intention of making that happen after two years of canceling right so they had previous coordinators and everybody got burnt out
