crashed and burst into flames close to the tourist town of Pokhara.

Nepalese are observing a day of mourning for victims of the country's worst air disaster for three

decades. At least 68 people died when the flight from Kathmandu to the tourist town of Pokhara

crashed and caught fire on Sunday morning. Mobile phone footage showed the Yeti Airlines flight

rolling sharply as it approached the airport before its suddenly nose-dived.

As we record this podcast, it's unclear what caused the crash or whether a few of those on board

did somehow manage to survive. Divya Dakaal, who lives nearby, saw the plane go down.

I saw the Yeti aircraft flying over my neighborhood and then it just disappeared and suddenly

there was smoke all over the sky. The people who saw it live from their terraces they were saying

the plane was not in good balance and the wings were really flipping and then it first hit the
