Hello everybody and welcome back to Red Menace.

On today's episode, we are covering, as we mentioned last month, the concept of the

three-way fight, and we're going to be relying fairly heavily, but certainly not

exclusively on Devon's Zane Shaw's work on the front, which actually we've done

an episode with Devon on RevLeft as well, which perhaps we can link to in the

show notes, covering some of the stuff we'll be covering today. But that is the

topic, the three-way fight, and we think it's particularly timely, and I think

we'll get into why it's timely throughout this conversation, but people that are

on the left and the Communist left certainly know that there are errors in both

directions, right? There have been socialists that have, especially through the

Trump and COVID years, kind of moved to side with the liberals in various ways

against the so-called fascist threat of Trump and the Trump administration, and

we've seen even more recently socialists kind of through confusion or

chauvinism or a mixture of both leaning towards the right on various issues and

trying to, I think, functionally, tail the backward, if you will. So I think

it's helpful to make an intervention here to clarify the three-way fight and

to clarify a principled communist position in regards to the triangulation

between liberalism and fascism. So that's what we're going to do today.

Allison, would you like to kind of bring us into the main discussion?

Yeah, I'll go ahead and kind of broadly set up what we're dealing with here. So

this term three-way fight, if you're not familiar with it, we're gonna look a

little bit into Devin's definition of it since it's very useful. But broadly,
