In the time honour fashion, the supine mainstream media are obediently

rubbishing at all as mischief by the Russian foreign ministry.

Let's blame the Russians.

Whatever the truth of the matter, a bag of cocaine and a wee silver spoon for snorting it,

or crumpled tissue and discarded coffee stirr, I invite you to choose which one of those might be the official line.

The point is that the leaders of the orthodoxy are just punchlines now, waiting for the next joke.
