Hi everyone. I'm about to do a bit of shameless self-publicity, bit of an advert, but the fact is my latest book which is Haunting's which is about the paranormal. It's come out in paperback publishing hardback about a year ago

but now it's out in paperback and I would love it if as many of you as possible would give it the time

of day it's obtainable from wherever you like to

acquire copies of real books, actual ink on paper books. It's about the relationship that we all have with the phenomena that are described as

supernatural or paranormal and I've been I've been fascinated by the paranormal for a lot of my life

I've never actually had an encounter that I could really describe as an encounter with a ghost,

although I have had some inexplicable experiences and for good I really are all there

detailed in the book as well.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the content,

I think it's quite illustrative to describe something that I do relate within the book. It kind of sums up the

inspiration. It kind of explains and puts in context why I decided to do this.

A lot of years ago now when I was making a television documentary and the truth of the matter is it's a in many ways it's a vague memory.

I can't remember precisely where I was when it happened

although it was in a fairly wind-blasted rain-blasted Scottish hillside but I spend a lot of my time

in those sorts of locations or at least I used to and I was there with a contributor as we say a member of the public that we had brought along for the day to tell a specific story.

It was something to do with a Scottish battle.

I just for the life of me, can't remember what it was.

Now, filming days are long and drawn out.

You're always waiting for the light,

or you're waiting for the weather,

or you're waiting for this, that and the next thing.

And you end up standing chatting to the contributors for protracted periods of time.
