Well, here we are. It's a historic day, I would say, I suppose, every US presidential election is historic, given the influence that the United States of America has

over the way things are in the rest of the world. And here we are. It's a stonking win for Donald

J. Trump. And the United States of America now embarks on a second term with the Donald.

So what's my reaction?

I have to say, from the heart, I'm allowing myself some optimism today, some modicum of hope,
