And now for something completely different fellow time travelers. As many of you will know, the

love letters have just hit the 200 milestone. We've had millions of downloads so far, which is great fun.

And Paul and I felt that maybe a bit of a breeder was in order,

a palette cleanser, if you will.

And with that in mind, we decided that we might all

enjoy some conversations with some fascinating and inspiring people and so today

first of those I'm looking forward to a long free-form chat with someone who in the past couple of years has been a teacher and a guide to me and also a friend.

Wilkeet is an expert in the Constitution,

which is to say, well, as I understand it, it really the long story of how we the people seek to govern ourselves.

It's a long story, it's full of history, amongst others,

and it's a story in which it's fair to say there's little in

the way of consensus and much in the way of debate often very heated debate on the face of it and in these febrial times talk of the

Constitution it might seem esoteric which which is to say a specialized field of interest that might seem

of interest only to the few rather than the many.

And I certainly used to think that talk of the Constitution was right out there on the fringe.

It was off my radar but with Wills help I've come to understand that

contemplating how we as people should govern ourselves goes to the heart of everything else that's happening around us.

Not just here in the UK, but everywhere and for everyone.

So with that as a as a an introduction to the idea let's get down to good morning
