Indeed, if they even can wake up, what happens if you raise old ghosts and have today's people look on at them with fresh eyes.

I ask this question, these questions in the first instance in the light of the fear porn

circulating about flu, influenza in the UK right now.

I'm seeing clips on the mainstream media of people who certainly appear to be

news reporters standing in hospital doorways or striding about in hospital reception areas, wearing

face masks, those blue face nappies, as they warn of the need to mask up and wash hands, because, well,

if you don't, presumably the grannies who didn't die last time will die now.

Hundreds of thousands of people die every year on account of flu have done since no one knows when,

and certainly will continue to do so.
