I'm Mick Garrus, and this is Postmortem.

The term horror is a wide umbrella.

It encompasses a vast array of subgenres and approaches.

Even its subgenres have subgenres.

There are ghost stories, monster movie psychological horror,

body horror, supernatural horror, folk horror, horror comedy,

and on and on and on.

When I was producing Masters of Horror,

I thought it was important to cast a wide net

in showcasing the many shades of the genre.

We tried to offer up a varied platter of fright fests

and showcase how many facets the genre can offer.

It's a genre that can deliver splatterific free song

that is all about the sanguineary stuff,
