I've never seen Sophie's choice,

but I understand it's about a lady who has to choose which of her little kids will die in the Holocaust.

With a log line like that, the only time I'd ever imagine making time to watch that would be if I were faced with a similar situation and needed advice.

But it's upon that terrifying premise that we build today's show.

I have seen Sophie's choice. It's not a great movie. It's a lot of long static

close-ups of Merrill Street telling stories like I could have shot half of it

myself and it's also told from the perspective of an aspiring writer, which is the laziest choice a writer can make.

And by the time they finally flash back to Sophie making her legendary choice, you start to wonder why you should still be away like you can go watch
