lecturer, planetary scientist, best-selling author, TV, radio and podcast host, the only Harvard

educated astrophysicists we've ever had on this show, unless you want to count Larry Storch.

Since 1996, he's been the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space

and in 1997, he founded the Department of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History

right here in New York City. He's also the author, a co-author of 16 books and the recipient

of 20 honorary doctorates and in 2007, Time Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people

in the world. We're also fairly certain that he's our only guest to have an asteroid named after

you've seen him on the big screen and features like Ice Age, Coalition, Course and Batman,

Fertzist Superman, Dawn of Justice, As Willard's dozens of TV programs, The Daily Show, The Simpsons,

The Big Bang Theory, Jeopardy, Family Guy, Brooklyn 9.9, Real Time with Bill Marr,

and the late show with Stephen Cobair just the name of you. He served as the host of the

PBS series Nova and Nova Science now as well as the popular podcast and radio show StarTalk.

And he's the host of an Emmy-winning television series Cosmos, Possible Worlds and Cosmos,

A Space Time Odyssey. He's also the recipient of Natchez Distinguished Public Service Medal

and in 2015, the U.S. National Academy of Science awarded him the Public Well-Pair Medal for

his extraordinary role in exciting the public about the wonders of science. Frank and I are
