If you have a Bible and I hope you do, the beauty of the gospel, the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we've got together to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christian. This is what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

North America conference from Nehemiah Chapter 1. And today you're going to hear the first part

of that two-part message entitled Nehemiah and the call to mission.

I want to start tonight by letting you know where we're going and then I want to pray for what is going to

happen in the next few minutes so it's traditionally common to close a missions conference with an invitation for

special extraordinary group of people who sense that God is calling them to mission to make a decision.

Sign a card, stand, say God's calling me to mission or God's calling me to ministry.

But the whole point of this mission conference

has been to make clear that that call is not for a special extraordinary group of people.

The call to mission is for all of God's people.
