What a joy it was to preach this series of messages at Faith Baptist Church on the book of

Nehemiah.

I've entitled this series When God Interrupts Your Life, and I hope it's a great encouragement

to you and helps you to be a better servant of Jesus. God bless you, my friends.

Nehemiah chapter number eight tonight in your Bible. We began a message this morning entitled

Begin with the Bible. The people in Nehemiah's day were at such a transitional moment in their lives.

The wall now had been built,

and they're ready to move forward. They're ready to get involved in the people business.

Make no mistake about it, that's what church is. Church is people business. That's what church is.

And I hope that you've been listening carefully to these messages and realizing that's not

necessarily about the place.

We talked about that this morning.

They had a gathering place out in the street.

That's the place that could accommodate them.

And yet they heard the word of God.

That's what's important.

What's important is hearing the word of God.

This week at camp, our teenagers,

you're going to have a great week at camp. But the important thing is the Word of God. The important thing is each one of those God night times, those chapel services in the morning, in the evening,

that's why we make the investment. And I hope that you'll keep that in mind as well.
