Levites, temple servants, and descendants of Solomon's servants

lived in the towns of Judah, each in their own property

Judah and Benjamin lived in Jerusalem.

From the descendants of Judah, Athahaya, son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah,

the son of Shafatia, the son of Mahalal, a descendant of Perez, and Maasa, son of Baruch,

son of Colh, Jose, son of Hazaya, the son of Adaya,

son of Joirib, the son of Zechariah, a descendant of Shela, the descendants of Perez,

who lived in Jerusalem, totaled 468 men of standing.

From the descendants of Benjamin, Salu, son of Meshalam, son of Joed, the son of Padaya,

the son of Kolaia, the son of Maasya, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaya, and his followers, Gabaya and Salai, 928 men.

Joel, the son of Zikri, was their chief officer, and Judah, son of Hasanua, was over the new quarter of the city.

From the priest, Jedaya, the son of of Jariah, Jhaerib, Jakin, Saraya, son of Hilkaya, son of Meshalam,

the son of Zodak, the son of Meralath, the son of Ahatub,
