Nehemiah.

I've entitled this series When God Interrupts Your Life, and I hope it's a great encouragement

Nehemiah chapter 10 in your Bible this morning, the book of Nehemiah in chapter 10. I love the book

of Nehemiah. I've loved studying through it. Those of you that have been with us know that we've

been preaching a series of messages

from this great book of Nehemiah.

We've called this series when God interrupts your life.

And I want God always to have the prerogative to interrupt my life.

If he wants to change my course, if he wants to add something or take something out, I always want the Lord to have that prerogative in my life.

He knows the path that I take.

He's the one that knows what my future holds.

And I want to obey him.

Nehemiah obeyed the Lord.

Never in the million years would he have realized that God would use him a cup bearer to be a wall builder.

And yet that's exactly what God did.

And for six chapters, we traced the construction project, all the persecution, all the criticism.

It didn't make a difference. Nehemiah kept his eyes on

the Lord, and by God's grace accomplished a great project for the Lord. And now for the last
