0:00.0	This is the Bible Book Club, the book of Nehemiah. Welcome to the club.
0:13.2	Last time in chapter 9 of Nehemiah, we learned that without knowledge of the law,
0:17.9	there is no conviction, repentance, and therefore, no forgiveness of sin.
0:22.7	The law is that line that teaches us right from wrong.
0:26.4	With that lesson fresh in their minds, because they had just heard the law for the first time,
0:31.5	they gathered once again, this time in sackcloth for an uncomfortable confession.
0:37.2	That lasted for half a day. During that time,
0:40.2	they prayed through their history as a nation, a review that highlighted God's faithfulness
0:45.1	and their faithlessness. With their conviction, confession, and repentance behind them, though,
0:51.4	it is time to restore their relationship with God. And that meant a
0:55.1	renewal of the covenant. The leader made, signed, and sealed a binding agreement. So first up in this

1:42.5	Ben Ui, the sons of Heenad, Cadmiel and their associates Shebanaya,
1:48.5	Haudiah, Kilita, Piliaya, Hainan, Mika, Rehob, Hashibaya, Zaker, Shiribaya, Shebanaya,
1:57.7	Haudiah, Bani, and Beniyu. The leaders of the people, Pairosh, Pahath Moab, Elam, Zatu, Bani, Boone, Azgad, Bibi, Adonajah, Begvai, Adanajah, Hezekiah, Azur, Hodaya, Hesham, Bezai, Harif, Anahoth, Nebai, Magpiyash, Meschoulam, Hazir Meshezhebel, Zaduk, Jadua, Pilatya, Hananaya, Hainanayah, Heshu, Haleh, Haleh, Shobachah,hom, Hashabna, Mayasaya, Ahaya, Hainan, Ayn, Maluk, Harim, and Bayana.
2:42.0	The rest of the people, priests, Levites, gatekeepers, musicians, temple servants, and all who separated
2:48.5	themselves from the neighboring peoples for the sake of the law of God,
2:52.2	together with their wives and all their sons and daughters who were able to understand.
