I went on a super secret church hunt a couple days ago and I think I would call it

successful. I'm going to call it marginally successful. My wife and I were at a wedding

in Connecticut. I was telling you about the wedding over the last few episodes as we're talking

about Nehemiah Chapter 10 year. And the wedding, by the way, was glorious. That's about as much fun as I've ever had

at one of those, the vibe. It was just, it was great. and maybe I'm a little biased toward it because it

felt different than normal weddings geographically. We were in Connecticut

which is awesome by the way. Who knew Connecticut was lovely and beautiful and quaint as it actually is?

I had no clue. I feel like I'd seen it before, but I had not seen it before.

So we're in Western Connecticut. Everything was awesome. It was a great time.

And after that, I had a little bit of time

to go and do some exploring.

And when I have extra time, I go and explore churches

because that's what I like to do.

And in this case, it was a special church so we were going to go and look for because it's a church that my ancestors planted.

It's the first Baptist church that ever existed in Connecticut. It was found in the 1705, I wanted to go see if anything was left of it.

So my wife and I drove down to Groton Connecticut slash Mystic Connecticut.
